The Story Behind BeyondStrips
Beyond Strip was founded in December 2025 after recognizing the barriers that can make fencing difficult to access, especially the high cost of coaching, dependence on specialized facilities, and limited opportunities to practice outside fencing clubs.
The project aims to bring fencing into homes and communities through flexible training methods such as fencing dummies, community events, and outreach activities.
Today, over 3,000 students have interacted with the project, helping more experience fencing with fewer barriers and greater accessibility.
Our Goals

Building a stronger fencing community is about more than training athletes. BeyondStrips brings students, families, and coaches together through workshops, practice sessions, and community events. By creating more opportunities to learn, practice, and connect, we hope to make fencing more welcoming and accessible to everyone.

Fencing practice should not be limited to scheduled lessons or access to a coach. BeyondStrips provides athletes with more flexible ways to practice basic movements, distance control, and target accuracy on their own. Our goal is to help students continue developing their skills wherever and whenever they have time to train.

BeyondStrips aims to introduce fencing to more students through community events and hands-on activities. Fencing can be difficult to access because of equipment costs, limited training spaces, and a lack of opportunities for beginners. We hope to give more people the chance to experience fencing and discover an interest in the sport.
